Franziska Wildt studied visual art at Staedelschule Frankfurt and the University of Arts Berlin (UdK). She also holds a degree in philosophy from Goethe University Frankfurt and is currently teaching and researching in the fields of art and aesthetics at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart (AbK). Besides her artistic work she is also pursuing a PhD in aesthetics at the Institut for Social Research (IfS)/ Goethe University Frankfurt. Her research is concerned with the relationship between art, knowledge and politics.
